EA capped off their E3 press conference with a huge multiplayer gameplay blowout on Star Wars Battlefront 2, and it was amazing.
The game looks to be a major step up from the first Battlefront in 2015. They drove home the fact that the game will have a single player campaign, split-screen co-op, and that the game will feature playable heroes and factions from across all eras. There are also different classes for players to choose between like in the classic Battlefront games.
On top of that, all DLC for the game will be free. That means no ridiculous $50 season pass for the game. Each season of DLC will be based around a theme, with the first one being based on The Last Jedi. With that season, everyone will be getting a Finn and Captain Phasma as playable characters. EA also announced that a multiplayer beta would be available this fall for anyone who pre-orders the game.
Star Wars Battlefront II comes out November 17.
