Multiplayer Gets Revealed For Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

By: Tyler Miller

Today at their community reveal event, Treyarch debuted the first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer.

The game looks to remain just as fast-paced and intense as past Black Ops games. Based on the information released so far, Black Ops IIII sees the return of specialists from the past game in the series. Some of these specialists will be new, while others will be older ones that are being reimagined in some way, shape, or form. These specialists each have their own unique weapon and ability like before, but their abilities play more into helping the team win the match, similar to how a character in a hero shooter like Overwatch would.

Also important to note is the fact that there is no advanced movement in the game. Black Ops IIII is completely boots on the ground, with the speed and ease of movement that Black Ops III provided, something that is sure to please fans. In addition, health doesn’t regenerate on its own anymore. There is a dedicated button for it that you have to press whenever you want to gain health back, forcing you to pick and choose the right moment to heal yourself.

More information is sure to come out as the day goes on, so check back here for more later on today.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
