Microsoft is addressing all their first-party woes head on with the announcement of five new development studios.
Phil Spencer announced today that Playground Games (Forza Horizon series), Ninja Theory (Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice), Compulsion Games (We Happy Few), newly created The Initiative, and Undead Labs (State of Decay series) will all be Microsoft first-party studios. This announcement is sure to ease up Microsoft’s first-party exclusive problem that they’ve been dealing with for quite some time this generation.
