Earlier this afternoon, Xbox announced that we’ll be getting our first look at gameplay from Xbox Series X titles next week. The announcement came from the Xbox Twitter page. The reveal will happen during a new episode of Inside Xbox on May 7 at 8am PT/11am ET. Fans hoping for a glimpse of some first-party titles will have to wait a bit longer, as they won’t be featured in the episode. Aaron Greenberg from Xbox followed up the announcement with his own clarification, stating that “the Xbox Games Studios teams are hard at work on big summer plans. More details soon!”
This means that we’ll be seeing gameplay from third-party developers, and we already know one of them. Ubisoft confirmed that they will be debuting gameplay for the newly announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at the show.
We’ve yet to see any gameplay from next-gen titles, so the floodgates are slowly starting to open and I’m excited. I can’t wait to see what games appear at the show and what they bring to the table.
