State of Play Announced For The Last of Us Part II

Fans of The Last of Us Part II have something to look forward to this week, as Sony has announced a new State of Play focusing on the game.Coming from the Playstation Blog, the broadcast will happening on Wednesday, May 27 at 4 PM ET/ 1 PM PT, and is confirmed to be a little more than 20 minutes long. Game director and Naught Dog Vice President Neil Druckmann is going to give us a walk through of different game details and story aspects, with the showcase ending in a sequence showing off 8-minutes of brand new gameplay.

Just like with the Ghost of Tsushima State of Play we got earlier this month, there will be no talk of the Playstation 5 in this episode. We’ll have to wait a little longer for that.

The Last of Us Part II releases on June 19.
