Would You Look At That? The Last Guardian Got Delayed Again

By: Tyler Miller

Continuing its never-ending saga with delays, The Last Guardian has been pushed back from October 25 to December 6, 2016. The delay was announced on the Playstation Blog. Here’s the full post:

The Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.

Fumito Ueda, gen DESIGN and JAPAN Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian’s touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.

Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content toward launch.

We appreciate your continued support.

While it’s a bit disappointing to hear, this delay can only mean good things for the game. After years of anticipation, this game is going to have be absolutely perfect in every way imaginable in order for it to live up to people’s expectations (which it will most likely fail to do). Getting rid of bugs and other assorted issues can only make the game better, so fans shouldn’t be too upset with the reasoning behind the delay. Plus the game is still coming out this year, so it’s not all at that bad. A few more weeks is nothing compared to the past couple of years spent waiting.

Preacher Ends The Season With A Bang

SPOILERS FOR THE SEASON FINALE OF PREACHER FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

Preacher hasn’t had the most graceful season, with it meandering a lot along the way to the end. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say that the season finale totally made up for all of that and was an episode that fired on every cylinder.

Everyone’s Separated And Lost In The Second Half Of Fear The Walking Dead

By: Tyler Miller

Fear The Walking Dead left us on an interesting note, with the characters arriving at their “safe haven” in Mexico, only to burn it to the ground and then end up split up and have their family shattered. From the looks of the trailer for the second part of the season, it looks like each of our three groups will be forced to come to the realization that they have to survive in this world and they can’t do it alone. I was already looking forward to seeing what happens next with these characters, and now this trailer has me excited for what’s going to come next.

The Walking Dead Hides Negan’s Victim In The Season 7 Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

Still wondering who Negan killed in the season finale for The Walking Dead? Well you’ll still be wondering for a few more months as the trailer for season 7 offers no clues whatsoever. In fact, none of the potential victims even show up in the trailer aside from in a flashback montage at the start. The trailer does show just how much larger the world is going to become though, with the reveal of The Kingdom and The Sanctuary, Negan’s compound. Looks like we’ll be spending plenty of time getting to know these new characters. Personally, I’m excited for Ezekiel and his tiger Shiva. Boy oh boy I can’t wait for October to come this year!

Time To Fight For The Church On Preacher

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1, EPISODE 8 FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

Preacher this week was a better episode than last week’s somewhat lackluster one. Even though not too much happened, things were thoroughly entertaining and it was interesting to see Jesse deal with the realization that he’s been an ass lately, as well as the threat of Odin Quincannon.
