We’ve gone through two of the press conferences already, and now we’re up to Microsoft. There’s a lot that I’m looking forward to from them so let’s not waste anymore time and just get right on into this!

2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us is finally getting a sequel, simply called Injustice 2. Based on the limited information that’s been revealed, the story of the game follows Batman and other heroes fighting to stop those that want to revive Superman’s regime from the first game. At the same time, a new potentially world ending threat is coming to Earth, forcing our heroes to have to face that as well.
There’s also a cool new Gear System in the game that gives you gear after each match you partake in as a loot drop that’s specific to your character. This gear allows you to customize your fighter and make them stronger, changing their appearance and the way that you fight as them.
Lastly, we have three brand new characters announced for the game. They are Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd, and the Red Lantern Atrocitus.
Injustice 2 launches on PS4 and Xbox One later this year.

Early this morning, Square Enix released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (that’s a mouthful), and it is amazing. There’s lots of new footage here showcasing combat as Aqua in 0.2 – A fragmentary Passage and a fair amount of story cutscenes from Back Cover. There’s also some Dream Drop Distance in there as well, but it’s nowhere near as exciting as the other two games. The best part? Confirmation of a worldwide release this December! Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any Kingdom Hearts 3 news until this winter, but hopefully the team at Square Enix surprises us next week and has a trailer of sorts to show off.

E3 2016 is getting closer which means it’s time to take a look at Bethesda, the second studio to have a press conference this year.

Guerrilla Games’ highly anticipated Horizon Zero Dawn was announced at E3 last year, so it’s only appropriate that we get a brand new trailer for the game a week before E3 this year. The trailer focuses on our main character Aloy and her backstory, while also showing off how beautiful this game is. It’s crazy how it even rivals Uncharted 4 in terms of visuals at this early stage of development. Then again, Guerrilla Games is known for making gorgeous games. Too bad the game has been delayed to next year though, but the wait is sure to be worth it.

The first episode of Preacher knocked my socks off to say the least. It came out of nowhere and impressed me with its characters, action, and crazy plot. All of that carries over to its second episode, but it’s an overall weaker episode than the premiere was.

June has arrived at last! So you know what that means? E3 2016 will be upon us very soon, and us gamers will be swimming in all the new game reveals and announcements that all the developers and publishers give us. With E3 coming up, I felt that it would be fun to talk about what I’m looking forward to, and what I hope doesn’t happen at each of the press conferences. Since I don’t play PC games, I won’t be doing one of these posts for the PC press conference so I apologize for those that are interested in that show. With all of that out of the way, let’s kick this off with EA who has the first press conference of the show.

Let’s just say this right out of the gate. The midseason finale for Fear The Walking Dead was not a good episode. Characters continued to make odd decisions that seemed out of character and things just happened in a way that was off. Nothing really seemed to make sense character wise aside from a few things, making it seem like the character decisions over the past two episodes were meant to just get everyone to where they were at the end of this episode.

Preacher is a series that I never heard of until word got out that it was being made into a tv show. Even after that I didn’t really follow any news about it until we got closer to the series premiere. With all the buzz surrounding it I decided I’d go ahead and watch the show. Sure I have not a single clue about anything in the show outside of the basic premise, but I figured why not jump on and see what the show is all about. After seeing the pilot I can say that deciding to watch Preacher was one of the best choices I’ve made.
