Fear The Walking Dead Makes A Pit Stop

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2, EPISODE 2 FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

Fear The Walking Dead has an issue that is well known to those that watch the show; it’s slow, it’s characters make dumb decisions, and sometimes it seems like the show is going nowhere. These things aren’t really issues with me like I stated in my recap of last week’s episode. This week though I’d say was an exception.

The Villains Take The Spotlight On Agents Of SHIELD

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3, EPISODE 16 FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

Last night’s episode of Agents of SHIELD was another solid one for the series. Hive got a bit more focus this episode after a lot of nothing, while the SHIELD team tried to get an idea of who Hive is and what he wants to do. With all of that happening though, the person who got the most interesting plot line this episode was Gideon Malick.

Change Your Reality With The First Doctor Strange Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Benedict Cumberbatch debuted the first teaser for Doctor Strange and it’s mind blowing. The teaser shows off the magical side of the MCU and the effects for this movie are simply amazing, especially considering the movie just finished filming. If you thought Inception was a trippy movie, Doctor Strange is certainly going to take you on a mind trip. This is a movie that looks like it’ll be totally worth the IMAX 3D ticket cost.

In addition, two posters for the movie were released today as well. Check them out below!

Doctor Strange releases this fall on November 4.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sequel Looks Like Lots Of Fun

By: Tyler Miller

Earlier today Paramount released the second trailer for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and it looks like it’ll be a wild ride. I was someone that enjoyed the first one, but it didn’t exceed any expectations that I had for it. The sequel on the other hand is looking better than the original one from the jump for me and I certainly can’t wait for this movie to come out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes out on June 3.

We’re Out At Sea In Fear The Walking Dead

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2, EPISODE 1 FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

When Fear The Walking Dead aired last summer, people were excited for it at first. The prospect of watching the downfall of civilization in a totally new environment intrigued many viewers. Unfortunately, many viewers also ended up feeling disappointed by the show due to lack of connection to the characters, character decisions, and a slower pace than sister series The Walking Dead. If you were one of those people that ended up disappointed with season one, the season two premiere might not be enough to change your mind.

Titanfall 2 Gets Its First Teaser Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

It’s been a few years since the first Titanfall came out, so it’s finally time for the sequel to make its big appearance. The teaser for Titanfall 2 is short, showing only a drop pod, a titan, and its giant sword in a jungle environment, all with narration in the background about being a hero. The narration probably has something to do with the single player campaign that the game has, but we’ll have to wait until June 12 to find out more about the much anticipated game.

Gears of War 4 Gets Itself A Short New Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

I hope you aren’t tired of “The Sound of Silence” thanks to all the Sad Affleck memes, because it’s featured in the newest trailer for Gears of War 4. The trailer itself plays up the “one long night in the woods” theme that the game is going for and it looks pretty grim for protagonist JD. We also get to see his daddy Marcus though at a happier time in their lives, so it’s not a totally grim trailer. Not the most amazing trailer, but still a nice one nonetheless.

Gears of War 4 hits Xbox One later this year on October 11.

Welcome To New York In The New Trailer For Fantastic Beasts

By: Tyler Miller

Tonight we got a brand new look at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new movie in the Harry Potter universe. The teaser serves as an introduction to New York and the wizard world that’s set up there, and a way to provide a bit more backstory on our protagonist Newt Scamander. Turns out he got expelled from Hogwarts for endangering some folks there. Not like the school isn’t used to that sort of thing. The movie looks like it’ll be a fun journey back into the wizard world, and I’m already sold on Newt and his quirkiness. Leave your thoughts on the movie down below!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be in theaters on November 18.

Time For A Ballroom Blitz In The Second Suicide Squad Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

Following its premiere at the MTV Movie Awards, the newest trailer for Suicide Squad has made its way online. The trailer is even more action packed and fun than the previous one, which only bodes well for the actual movie when it releases. There’s some nice scenes showing off the camaraderie between the squad members, and also some more shots of Batman during his chase after the Joker and Harley Quinn as well. The marketing guys are doing a great job with the trailers for this movie, with the great music (“Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet) behind the equally great cuts. If you weren’t hyped for the movie before, this trailer should certainly do the trick.

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5.
