Where the first trailer forĀ Star Trek Beyond failed to connect with many fans due to its song choice and the clips used, this new one succeeds and manages to be a major improvement over the first one. I was someone who liked the first trailer, but I’m totally blown away with this one. Paramount has definitely sold me on this movie because before I wasn’t that hyped for it. Check out the trailer below along with the newly released poster!

Star Trek Beyond comes out on July 22.
TheĀ Captain America series started off on the wrong foot with me. While I liked the first one, I found myself to be largely bored with the movie for some reason that I still can’t quite put my finger on. ThenĀ The Winter Soldier came out and I fell in love with that movie. Everything from the story to the action and the characters in that movie hit me like a truck and I was totally on board with wherever the series went. OnceĀ Civil War was announced I just knew that the movie was going to surpassĀ The Winter Soldier, and it didn’t disappoint at all. In fact, it exceeded all of my expectations for the movie.Ā Captain America: Civil War is the best movie in the trilogy, and the best movie Marvel has made yet.

Last night, Assassin’s Creed fans got their very first look at the upcoming movie based on the game. The movie stars Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch, a death row inmate who becomes part of the Animus project at Abstergo. Using the machine, he experiences the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th century Spain.
The movie certainly looks like it’ll be faithfully adapting elements from the game, although the Animus in the movie is a bit odd since it’s not a seat/bed like in the games. And the music could definitely be changed for this trailer, but it isn’t a deal breaker for me.
Check out the poster for the movie!

Well, it certainly looks like Apocalypse is gonna put our young mutants through the ringer in the (supposedly) final trailer forĀ X-Men: Apocalypse. There’s a bunch of mutant action in the trailer that we’ve seen glimpses of, more of the story, and a funny moment between Quicksilver and Mystique. Oh, there’s also a nice little surprise at the end for all the fans as well.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27.

At many rumors and speculation, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Ben Affleck will be starring in and directing a standalone Batman movie. The news was announced at CinemaCon by Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara. The movie doesn’t have a release date right now, but it could be announced at San Diego Comic Con this year. Fans will just have to wait and see. For now though, let’s celebrate that the best Batman will be getting a movie made by the man himself.

Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Benedict Cumberbatch debuted the first teaser forĀ Doctor Strange and it’s mind blowing. The teaser shows off the magical side of the MCU and the effects for this movie are simply amazing, especially considering the movie just finished filming. If you thoughtĀ Inception was a trippy movie,Ā Doctor Strange is certainly going to take you on a mind trip. This is a movie that looks like it’ll be totally worth the IMAX 3D ticket cost.
In addition, two posters for the movie were released today as well. Check them out below!
Doctor Strange releases this fall on November 4.

Earlier today Paramount released the second trailer for the upcomingĀ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and it looks like it’ll be a wild ride. I was someone that enjoyed the first one, but it didn’t exceed any expectations that I had for it. The sequel on the other hand is looking better than the original one from the jump for me and I certainly can’t wait for this movie to come out.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes out on June 3.

Tonight we got a brand new look atĀ Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new movie in theĀ Harry Potter universe. The teaser serves as an introduction to New York and the wizard world that’s set up there, and a way to provide a bit more backstory on our protagonist Newt Scamander. Turns out he got expelled from Hogwarts for endangering some folks there. Not like the school isn’t used to that sort of thing. The movie looks like it’ll be a fun journey back into the wizard world, and I’m already sold on Newt and his quirkiness. Leave your thoughts on the movie down below!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be in theaters on November 18.

Following its premiere at the MTV Movie Awards, the newest trailer forĀ Suicide Squad has made its way online. The trailer is even more action packed and fun than the previous one, which only bodes well for the actual movie when it releases. There’s some nice scenes showing off the camaraderie between the squad members, and also some more shots of Batman during his chase after the Joker and Harley Quinn as well. The marketing guys are doing a great job with the trailers for this movie, with the great music (“Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet) behind the equally great cuts. If you weren’t hyped for the movie before, this trailer should certainly do the trick.
SuicideĀ Squad hits theaters on August 5.
