Xbox Opens Itself Up To Cross-Network Multiplayer

By: Tyler Miller

Hell must have frozen over and pigs must be flying because the impossible is finally a reality. Today Microsoft announced that Xbox players will be able to play online with players on other consoles or platforms. ID@Xbox Director Chris Carla broke the good news in a letter on Xbox Wire, saying that players on Xbox Live on either Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to play with people on other online networks. It comes down to the developers to implement it into their games and the other networks (i.e. PSN, Steam) to accept the invitation. The first game that will be be implementing this feature is Rocket League, the hit racing/soccer game that made a splash on Playstation Plus last summer, and recently made the leap to Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV Release Date Leaked?

By: Tyler Miller

Looking forward to Final Fantasy XV? If the latest rumor about the game is true, you won’t have to wait too much longer. According to a rumor from Gematsu, Square Enix will be releasing the much anticipated JRPG worldwide on Friday, September 30. Later this month on March 30, Square Enix will be holding an event titled “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” where they will be officially announcing the game’s release date, so we’ll see then if this rumor is true. I certainly hope it is, because I’m dying to get my hands on the full game.

Carol Has A Standout Episode On The Walking Dead

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 6, EPISODE 13 FOLLOW!

By: Tyler Miller

This week we got another slow episode of The Walking Dead. Normally, these episodes that focus on a select few members of the group on their own adventure can feel like filler and be a bit boring, but last night’s was not like that for the most part. It may have been some filler, but it offered some great character development for Carol, and gave Maggie some more screen time that she needed this season.

10 Cloverfield Lane Review

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, 10 Cloverfield Lane is an intense, suspenseful thriller that has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It’s a great movie, but if you’re expecting a straight sequel to the 2008 film Cloverfield, you may end up being disappointed with the film.

The New Civil War Trailer Is Absolutely Insane

By: Tyler Miller

Today Marvel released a brand new (and what is presumably, final) trailer for Captain America: Civil War, and it’s going to knock your socks off. There’s plenty of new footage, yet somehow none of it has shown us a whole lot more of the movie. Marvel is definitely keeping things about this movie close to the vest, and that’s a good thing in this day and age where studios reveal damn near everything their movie has to offer in their marketing. They did finally reveal Spidey though, which is sure to get fans (and those casually interested) even more hyped for the movie.

Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters May 6th, 2016.

Agents Of SHIELD Is Back And Has The Ball Rolling

By: Tyler Miller

Agents of SHIELD has been on its midseason break for quite some time now, so it’s great to finally have it back. While its return episode wasn’t an amazing one, it was a good one that got us back into the fold and raised some interesting questions.

Is Beyond Good and Evil 2 Coming To NX?

By: Tyler Miller

Remember Beyond Good and Evil 2? The game that Ubisoft announced in 2008, but haven’t talked about since then. Well it looks like the game just might be coming back, and soon! Coming from Destructoid, rumor has it that Nintendo is doing what they did for Bayonetta 2 and are funding the game, while securing NX exclusivity for the game in the process. According to the rumor, the game is going by the title of Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers. If true, this is a major win for Nintendo. Of course, this is sure to ruffle the feathers of quite a few fans if it is true, but only time will tell. I’m betting that we’ll be getting confirmation of this news at E3 at the soonest. What do you all think? Leave your thoughts below.

Here’s Our First Look At The New Ghostbusters

By: Tyler Miller

At long last, Sony has released the first trailer for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. The movie has been catching a lot of flak across the internet for multiple reasons, with the main reason being its cast (Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth). I personally don’t care about the cast being mostly made of women at all, and simply hope that the reboot will be a good movie and not a terrible one like reboots tend to be. With this first trailer it looks like the movie has a chance at being good, but we’ll have to see a little bit more before I’m totally on board.

Ghostbusters comes out this July.
