Road to E3 2017: Ubisoft

By: Tyler Miller

Next up on the road to E3 2017 is Ubisoft, and there’s a fair amount of stuff that I’m looking forward to from the French publisher. They always have a pretty good show that’s fun and exciting, even with the low points that they tend to have as well. I expect this year to be more of the same, and I can’t wait for it to hit. Anyway, let’s jump on in.

The Assassin’s Creed Movie Gets A Cool New Trailer

By: Tyler Miller

The first trailer for Assassin’s Creed wasn’t too bad, but the poor choice of using a Kanye West song that didn’t totally fit with the footage kept it from being better than it could’ve been. That certainly isn’t the case with the brand new trailer for the movie. It has a nice sounding rock song that I’ve been scouring the web trying to find so I can listen to it over and over, and A LOT of awesome shots of Michael Fassbender’s character, Callum Lynch, doing some badass assassin moves in both the present and the past. I wasn’t too excited for the movie before, but this trailer definitely got me hyped. And if anyone finds out what that song is, definitely let me know.

Assassin’s Creed hits theaters on December 21, 2016.

Here’s The First Trailer For The Assassin’s Creed Movie

By: Tyler Miller

Last night, Assassin’s Creed fans got their very first look at the upcoming movie based on the game. The movie stars Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch, a death row inmate who becomes part of the Animus project at Abstergo. Using the machine, he experiences the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th century Spain.

The movie certainly looks like it’ll be faithfully adapting elements from the game, although the Animus in the movie is a bit odd since it’s not a seat/bed like in the games. And the music could definitely be changed for this trailer, but it isn’t a deal breaker for me.

Check out the poster for the movie!

Assassin’s Creed comes out in theaters this December.

Five Of My Favorite Video Game Endings

By: Tyler Miller

When it comes to the end of a game, it’s very easy to decide if its ending is great or if it’s simply okay. But what is it that causes us to decide what it is that makes the end of a game great? For me at least, there are a couple of aspects that come into play when deciding if the end of a game is great: the music, emotion, and the finality of it all.
