Prey Is Back And It’s Pretty Creepy

By: Tyler Miller

The Prey series has had a troubled history, with Prey 2 being cancelled for unknown reasons. The series has been with Arkane Studios ever since then and the team has cooked up something that’s different from what came before, but still very interesting and cool. It looks like the game will have a survival horror kind of vibe and that’s not a bad thing at all. We have some time before the game comes out though, so let’s just continue to be creeped out by this trailer we got today.

The Skyrim Remaster Is Real!

By: Tyler Miller

Get ready to lose your life again this fall because The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is getting a remaster, and boy does it look gorgeous. On top of looking absolutely beautiful, it comes with mod support for consoles as well which is a nice bonus for those that never got to play the original on PC and experience the game with mods. The best part is that it’s coming out later this year, on October 28th. I think I may finally take the full plunge into the world of Skyrim at last later this year.

We’re Getting Three More Pieces Of Fallout 4 DLC

By: Tyler Miller

During their press conference, Bethesda revealed the next three pieces of DLC for Fallout 4. The first one called the Contraptions Workshop releases next week, and it allows you to build all kinds of different machines, and make your own items. The second piece of DLC is  called the Vault Tech Workshop, and this expands on the settlement building aspect of the game, allowing you to tap into your inner Vault Tech employee and build your own Vault. You can even perform tests on the people that end up residing in the Vault. Vault Tech Workshop releases next month. The final piece of DLC is called Nuka World and appears to give you a whole new area to explore with brand new quests, similar to the recently released Far Harbor DLC. This DLC releases in August.

By: Tyler Miller

It’s the middle of May which means that E3 (A.K.A. Christmas for gamers) is right around the corner! As per usual, the different press conferences this year will be live streamed online for those of us that can’t attend to watch online. Below is the list of press conferences and the times that they will be at, so make sure you write them down. You don’t want to miss out on these shows!

EA: June 12, 1 PM PST / 4 PM EST

Bethesda: June 12, 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST

Microsoft: June 13, 9:30 AM PST / 12:30 PM EST

PC Gaming Show: June 13, 12 PM PST / 3 PM EST

Ubisoft: June 13, 1 PM PST / 4 PM EST

Sony: June 13, 6 PM PST / 9 PM EST

Nintendo: Nintendo will not be having a press conference or Nintendo Direct this year, and will instead be having a full day of Nintendo Treehouse: Live starting on June 14th at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST.

Of note is that there is no news as for whether or not Square Enix will hold a press conference this year since they did last year. They have announced though that they will hold a “Square Enix Presents” live show where they will make game announcements and have discussions with game developers about their games. There will also be another Active Time Report taking place during E3 as well, so maybe more Final Fantasy XV news will be revealed then as well? Only time will tell.

What show are you most looking forward to this year? Leave your answer in the comments below!
