So if you start a game on your Xbox and need to go out, you can continue playing on any Windows 10 platform. Select games will be a part of the Xbox Anywhere program.

Gears of War 4 Looks Like More Classic Gears

By: Tyler Miller

Gears of War 4 was the first game Microsoft presented at their press conference and we got an exciting demo for the game. It looks just as fun as all the previous games in the series, and it also has a gun that shoots bouncing saws at enemies. The dialogue was a bit cheesy, but you can’t have everything right?

Gears of War 4 releases October 11th.

Of note is that there is no news as for whether or not Square Enix will hold a press conference this year since they did last year. They have announced though that they will hold a “Square Enix Presents” live show where they will make game announcements and have discussions with game developers about their games. There will also be another Active Time Report taking place during E3 as well, so maybe more Final Fantasy XV news will be revealed then as well? Only time will tell.

What show are you most looking forward to this year? Leave your answer in the comments below!

Xbox Opens Itself Up To Cross-Network Multiplayer

By: Tyler Miller

Hell must have frozen over and pigs must be flying because the impossible is finally a reality. Today Microsoft announced that Xbox players will be able to play online with players on other consoles or platforms. ID@Xbox Director Chris Carla broke the good news in a letter on Xbox Wire, saying that players on Xbox Live on either Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to play with people on other online networks. It comes down to the developers to implement it into their games and the other networks (i.e. PSN, Steam) to accept the invitation. The first game that will be be implementing this feature is Rocket League, the hit racing/soccer game that made a splash on Playstation Plus last summer, and recently made the leap to Xbox One.
