Avengers: Endgame Review

I’m going to say this upfront. Avengers: Endgame is a fantastic movie that serves as a perfect culmination of the past 11 years and 22 movies that make up the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s a lot that the movie has to do and it does it all so well that it’s easy to forgive any flaws that the movie has.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Review

Ever since the first trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped, I knew this movie was going to be something special. The animation was jaw dropping and something I had never seen before, and it was starring Miles Morales, a character that’s popular amongst comic fans, but not that well known to the general public. It was also going to introduce a number of different Spider-people through the multiverse, giving many iconic versions of Spider-Man their big screen debut, and greater exposure as well. The movie doesn’t disappoint at all, giving us the best Spider-Man movie ever, and definitely one of my favorite animated movies ever.

Happy Death Day Review

The slasher genre is one that has followed the same basic formula for some time. There’s always a killer that seems impossible to kill, and they’re always hunting down a group of people as they slowly pick them off one by one. It’s not that common to find a slasher movie that changes things up some in a good way. Happy Death Day is that rare slasher that brings a fresh new twist to the genre, even if the movie isn’t a revolution.

John Wick: Chapter 2 Review

When the first John Wick came out in 2014, many were surprised by just how good it was. Although it was a fairly simple revenge story, that did not keep the movie from being an amazing action film. While John Wick: Chapter 2 is more of the same, it takes everything great about the original and makes it even better.

The Lego Batman Movie Review

Lego Batman is a funny guy. He was funny in 2014’s The Lego Movie and he is still funny here in his own movie The Lego Batman Movie. Unfortunately, and quite ironically, the movie suffers because of its title character, and the amount of funny that’s jam packed in it.

Logan Review

The X-Men film series has had a spotty track record throughout the years, especially with the spinoff movies following Wolverine’s solo adventures.

Captain America: Civil War Review

The Captain America series started off on the wrong foot with me. While I liked the first one, I found myself to be largely bored with the movie for some reason that I still can’t quite put my finger on. Then The Winter Soldier came out and I fell in love with that movie. Everything from the story to the action and the characters in that movie hit me like a truck and I was totally on board with wherever the series went. Once Civil War was announced I just knew that the movie was going to surpass The Winter Soldier, and it didn’t disappoint at all. In fact, it exceeded all of my expectations for the movie. Captain America: Civil War is the best movie in the trilogy, and the best movie Marvel has made yet.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Review

By: Tyler Miller

This is a movie that many people have been waiting all their life for. Finally seeing Batman and Superman share the screen, much less fighting each other? Years ago the thought of this happening was just a dream; that is until San Diego Comic Con in 2013 when the minds of comic fans and non-comic fans alike were blown at the announcement of this movie. Well the dream is now a reality, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in theaters for us all to watch.

10 Cloverfield Lane Review

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, 10 Cloverfield Lane is an intense, suspenseful thriller that has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It’s a great movie, but if you’re expecting a straight sequel to the 2008 film Cloverfield, you may end up being disappointed with the film.

Deadpool Review

Deadpool is a movie that shouldn’t exist. Anyone that’s followed its development knows that the movie has been in development hell for years, with star Ryan Reynolds constantly pushing for the movie to be made, and never giving up on it. It’s a good thing he didn’t because Deadpool is everything that the fans could have ever wanted from a movie about the merc with a mouth.
