Remedy Entertainment is working on a new game and it’s called Control. The game puts you in the shoes of a special agent named Jesse Faden who has very strange abilities that allow you to shift things in the environment. It’s all very reminiscent of their last game Quantum Break. Control is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man may be a few months out from release, but that didn’t keep Sony from showing off an extensive demo from the game at their E3 press conference tonight. The demo followed Spidey as he tries to stop the villain Electro from freeing prisoners from the Raft. It’s exciting and adrenaline pumping superhero fun, so check it out!

Jack Sparrow is back in Kingdom Hearts III and he’ll be bringing along a number of other characters from the movies with him. It looks like we’ll be coming back to the world of pirates during the events of the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. How this will play into the overarching KH story remains to be seen, but count me excited!
Kingdom Hearts III releases on January 29, 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Ghost of Tsushima made its gameplay debut tonight during Sony’s E3 press conference and it looked amazing. There’s still some mystery behind the game, but based off the gameplay it looks like the combat will be tight and deliberate, requiring you to take your time and think before fighting others.

Tonight at their Sony’s E3 press conference, Shawn Layden announced that God of War will be getting a New Game Plus mode. The mode has been a big request amongst those that have beat the game, so it’s nice to know that it is in the pipeline. No window was given for when the update would be releasing.

This first look gave us a glimpse into what state the world is in, and gave us a look at just how brutal the gameplay is going to be this time around. Cutting it close again, but today’s stop on the Road to E3 2018 is Sony! They’re going to be showing a lot of new stuff this year from already announced games, and delivering us footage and announcements from other third party and indie games as well. It’s bound to be a great show, so let’s get to it!
In the current generation of gaming, many games strive to be the one that’s the complete package. They want to be the game with tight gameplay that’s fun and never boring, a story that gets you invested from the start and keeps you engaged for its entire duration, and cutting edge graphics that will further push the boundaries of how good games can look. A lot of games take big steps towards reaching this goal, but end up falling short in one way or another. God of War is that rare game that not only achieves these goals (amongst others), but surpasses them in ways that no one could have expected.
