Detroit: Become Human

By: Tyler Miller

Quantic Dream revealed a new trailer for their upcoming gameĀ Detroit: Become Human, and it’s definitely a Quantic Dream game. There are multiple choices as for how to approach a situation, multiple endings for them, and stunning graphics. It just wouldn’t be a Quantic Dream game without these things.

Horizon: Zero Dawn Keeps On Looking Great

By: Tyler Miller

Sony gave us a brand new demo forĀ theĀ recently delayedĀ Horizon: Zero Dawn and it impressed me even more than I expected it to. We got to see how you’re able to ride the machines in the world, some crafting, a boss fight, and dialogue choices. It sucks that the game got delayed because I want this game NOW.

Horizon: Zero Dawn comes out on February 28, 2017.

Sony Announces New IP Days Gone

By: Tyler Miller

Sony Bend finally revealed what they’ve been working on for a while now and it’s a post-apocalyptic game calledĀ Days Gone. You play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter. The game takes place two years after a worldwide disaster took out most of the Earth’s population, turning them into zombie-like creatures called “Freakers.” The gameplay demo was pretty action packed, although the game gives off aĀ vibe reminiscent ofĀ The Last Of Us. Will the final game be any good though? It looks like it has potential to be. If anything, it’ll be scary as hell being chased by hordes of zombies like the one in the demo.

God of War Is Back!

By: Tyler Miller

Sony kicked off their E3 press conference with their biggest game,Ā God of War. That’s right, there’s no subtitle or number for this one. The demo showed an older Kratos go on a hunting trip with his son that involves a good amount of fighting. Kratos also has an axe that’s similar to Thor’s hammer in that it comes back to him when he summons it and it appears it can use the power of ice. The demo also confirmed that the game is going to be in a Norse setting. Just based off this gameplay, it looks like they’re taking the series in a different direction from the past games and are trying to make things more personal than before, which I’m 100% on board with. Bring on the Norse gods!

Of note is that there is no news as for whether or not Square Enix will hold a press conference this year since they did last year. There will also be another Active Time Report taking place during E3 as well, so maybe more Final Fantasy XV news will be revealed then as well? Only time will tell.

Xbox Opens Itself Up To Cross-Network Multiplayer

By: Tyler Miller

Hell must have frozen over and pigs must be flying because the impossible is finally a reality. Today Microsoft announced that Xbox players will be able to play online with players on other consoles or platforms.Ā ID@Xbox Director Chris Carla broke the good news in a letter onĀ Xbox Wire, saying that players on Xbox Live on either Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to play with people on other online networks. It comes down to the developers to implement it into their games andĀ the other networksĀ (i.e. PSN, Steam) to accept the invitation. The first game that will be be implementing this feature is Rocket League, the hit racing/soccer game that made a splash on Playstation Plus last summer, and recently made the leap to Xbox One.
