It’s 2016 and that means another Call of Duty is coming out this year. With the reveal of a new game in the series also comes all the hate and scrutiny that the series gets each year (which just increases as the years go on), and this year is no different.

It’s been a few years since the first Titanfall came out, so it’s finally time for the sequel to make its big appearance. The teaser for Titanfall 2 is short, showing only a drop pod, a titan, and its giant sword in a jungle environment, all with narration in the background about being a hero. The narration probably has something to do with the single player campaign that the game has, but we’ll have to wait until June 12 to find out more about the much anticipated game.

I hope you aren’t tired of “The Sound of Silence” thanks to all the Sad Affleck memes, because it’s featured in the newest trailer for Gears of War 4. The trailer itself plays up the “one long night in the woods” theme that the game is going for and it looks pretty grim for protagonist JD. We also get to see his daddy Marcus though at a happier time in their lives, so it’s not a totally grim trailer. Not the most amazing trailer, but still a nice one nonetheless.
Gears of War 4 hits Xbox One later this year on October 11.

Those that are waiting for Gears of War 4 won’t have to wait much longer, as the game will be released worldwide on October 11 as an Xbox One exclusive. Entertainment Weekly revealed the game’s release date and the game’s cover art, which you can see down below:
Featured here on the cover art are our main protagonists JD, Kait, and Del. The game takes place about 25 years after the end of Gears of War 3, and follows JD Fenix (son of Marcus Fenix) and his squad over the course of one long night. For those that played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, you’ll be able to play the multiplayer beta for Gears of War 4 starting April 18. All other Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play from April 25, and the beta ends on May 1.

The Playstation 4’s newest software update, version 3.50, is going to be released tomorrow, and it comes with a host of new features. The two biggest ones are being able to appear offline while playing games and getting notifications when your friends are online. Some of the other features are being able to check the status of PSN, being able to broadcast to Dailymotion, and scheduling user events that allow you to organize play sessions with your friends. After being announced at E3 last year and then being released last September in Japan, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is finally come to North America! When is it coming you ask? The game will be released this week on April 7. Square Enix announced the game’s release date on the game’s North American Twitter page.

Yesterday, Sony and Naughty Dog released a brand new 15 minute preview of some Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay and it’s amazing. The preview showcases a large open area in Madagascar that we’ll be able to explore in the game, along with the fact that we’ll be able to use the Jeep to do that exploring. There’s also some combat in there as well near the end. I have to say that every time footage of this game gets released, I get even more impatient for it to be released.

Over the weekend, a user on NeoGAF uploaded a short video that they claimed was a demo reel of the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda. The footage contained a Krogan being held at gunpoint by a human character (that may or may not be the player) before releasing pollen fumes to harm them. The footage also contained a scene where the player used a jetpack for traversal. If you want to check it out, Kotaku still has it up.
Mass Effect Andromeda releases sometime in early 2017.
