Earlier today during the Game Developers Conference, Sony announced the price and release window for Playstation VR, the company’s foray into the VR landscape. Playstation VR will be released this October for $399/€399/£349/AUD $549. This makes it cheaper than the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, releasing for $600 and $800 respectively.

Coming with the headset are a processor unit, a VR headset connection cable, HDMI and USB cables, headphones, and a power supply. Xbox Opens Itself Up To Cross-Network Multiplayer

By: Tyler Miller

Hell must have frozen over and pigs must be flying because the impossible is finally a reality. Today Microsoft announced that Xbox players will be able to play online with players on other consoles or platforms. ID@Xbox Director Chris Carla broke the good news in a letter on Xbox Wire, saying that players on Xbox Live on either Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to play with people on other online networks. It comes down to the developers to implement it into their games and the other networks (i.e. PSN, Steam) to accept the invitation. The first game that will be be implementing this feature is Rocket League, the hit racing/soccer game that made a splash on Playstation Plus last summer, and recently made the leap to Xbox One.

Looking forward to Final Fantasy XV? If the latest rumor about the game is true, you won’t have to wait too much longer. According to a rumor from Gematsu, Square Enix will be releasing the much anticipated JRPG worldwide on Friday, September 30. Later this month on March 30, Square Enix will be holding an event titled “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” where they will be officially announcing the game’s release date, so we’ll see then if this rumor is true. I certainly hope it is, because I’m dying to get my hands on the full game.

Is Beyond Good and Evil 2 Coming To NX?

By: Tyler Miller

Remember Beyond Good and Evil 2? The game that Ubisoft announced in 2008, but haven’t talked about since then. Well it looks like the game just might be coming back, and soon! Coming from Destructoid, rumor has it that Nintendo is doing what they did for Bayonetta 2 and are funding the game, while securing NX exclusivity for the game in the process. According to the rumor, the game is going by the title of Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers. If true, this is a major win for Nintendo. Of course, this is sure to ruffle the feathers of quite a few fans if it is true, but only time will tell. I’m betting that we’ll be getting confirmation of this news at E3 at the soonest. What do you all think? Leave your thoughts below.

Once Again, Uncharted 4 Has Been Delayed

By: Tyler Miller

Were you looking forward to playing Uncharted 4 on April 26th? If so, get ready to wait just a little bit longer, as Sony and Naughty Dog have pushed the game back two weeks to May 10th, 2016. It’s not that much longer thankfully, so fans shouldn’t get too upset. Two extra weeks won’t be the end of the world, and I’m sure the game is going to be well worth the wait.

Uncharted 4 Can’t Get Here Any Sooner

By: Tyler Miller

Early this morning, Naughty Dog released a brand new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, putting emphasis on the game’s story (without spoiling anything), and boy is this game looking amazing. We get a look at a new character that appears to be our new villain this time around, a couple of set piece moments, and also A LOT of beautiful locations. This is probably the best looking game of this generation so far, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End comes out April 26th, 2016 on Playstation 4.

Five Of My Favorite Video Game Endings

By: Tyler Miller

When it comes to the end of a game, it’s very easy to decide if its ending is great or if it’s simply okay. But what is it that causes us to decide what it is that makes the end of a game great? For me at least, there are a couple of aspects that come into play when deciding if the end of a game is great: the music, emotion, and the finality of it all.
