In the middle of the night one month out from release, Square Enix decided to finally drop the demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake for the masses to get their hands on. After having just finished playing it myself, here are my thoughts summed up in one word: amazing!
It’s rare for me to fall so in love with a game that the second I finish it, I start it over to do it all again. Sayonara Wild Hearts is one of those rare games to hit all the right notes that keeps me coming back for more.
Until Dawn was a hit when it released in 2015. Developer Supermassive Games delivered a fun and creepy ode to slasher movies that had great characters, a fun story, and incredibly meaningful choices for you to make all throughout. It’s definitely one of my favorite choice based narrative games. Naturally my expectations were pretty high for their true follow up, Man of Medan. While the game is good, it falls short of greatness in a number of ways.

Welcome back everyone! Yesterday I talked about 12 of the games that I played throughout the course of the year, and I had a lot to say about them. Today we’re going to continue this look back on what I played this year with the final 12 games that I played. Just like yesterday there’s a lot to talk about with these games, so get comfortable because this is going to be a bit of a long post.

It’s crazy to think that 2018 is already ending guys! It feels like the year started not too long ago. Because I didn’t really post much about the games that I played throughout the year, I figured now would be the perfect time for me to look back on them and just offer my thoughts on them.

This morning, Sony broke the news that players will soon be able to change their PSN name. The news comes from a post on the Playstation Blog, and it’s safe to say that many are happy with this information seeing as how it’s been one of the most requested features for many years.
Superhero games have important jobs to fulfill. They have to put you in the shoes of the character and make you believe that you actually are this person. They need to deliver a story that takes some of the best parts of the character’s comic history, and mashes it all together in a package that at the very least is a fun ride to go on. The world that you play in has to be a great representation of the one that you see in the comics and other media. Most importantly though, the game needs to be fun to play. Insomniac Games checks all these boxes and delivers one of the best superhero games ever with their highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man.
