We covered my predictions for the rumored PlayStation Showcase, so now it’s Xbox’s turn. The Xbox Games Showcase is just a few weeks away and there’s a lot that I’m hoping we see from Microsoft. Will Gears 6 finally be announced? Is there going to be a new Perfect Dark trailer? Will we finally get to see gameplay for Fable? I have predictions for all those games and so many others, so let’s talk about them!
Ever since its announcement in 2018, Starfield has been one of my most anticipated games. A brand new IP from Bethesda Game Studios that brings their classic brand of RPGs into outer space was all I needed to hear to be on board with it, and now that it’s here I’ve been trying to sink as much time into it as I possibly can. I’ve only managed to log a solid 25 hours into this massive new adventure and so far I’m enjoying my journey across the stars. That said, there are some key aspects that have left me disappointed.
Microsoft just held their double feature Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct, and I’m happy to say that the team easily knocked it out of the park. If your confidence in the future of Xbox was shaky prior to today, now it’s almost certainly stronger than ever before.

The long rumored Starfield is real, as it was announced during Bethesda’s E3 press conference. Todd Howard revealed the game is their next new IP, and will be coming to next generation hardware. Nothing more was announced about the game, but we’ll definitely be hearing about it over the coming years.

For the third year in a row, Bethesda is holding its own E3 press conference. The past two years they’ve done this, the show has been a hit, so I’m fully expecting them to do it for the third year in a row. Bring on the games Bethesda!
