Road to E3 2017: Bethesda

By: Tyler Miller

For the third year in a row, Bethesda is holding its own E3 press conference. The past two years they’ve done this, the show has been a hit, so I’m fully expecting them to do it for the third year in a row. Bring on the games Bethesda!

Road To E3 2017: Microsoft

By: Tyler Miller

This is the year everyone! Microsoft is out for blood and they’re putting on their big boy gloves. I’m incredibly excited for their E3 showing this year, but I’m also afraid that they’ll mess this up badly. Thankfully though, my excitement for what they have (and potentially have) is far outweighing my fear for their show.

Call of Duty: WWII Has Been Announced

By: Tyler Miller

Early today, Activision revealed Call of Duty: WWII, the next installment in the series.  True to their word, the series is going back to its World War II roots. The game has been rumored to be heading back their for quite some time after leaked artwork surfaced a few weeks ago. The game is going to be developed by Sledgehammer Games, whose last game in the series was Advanced Warfare.

Aside from that, the only other information we have as of now is that the game will be releasing this November. Next week on Wednesday, Activision and Sledgehammer Games will be holding a livestream reveal of the game, so we have to wait just a little bit longer for a better look at the game.

Ellie Is Pissed In The Last of Us Part II

By: Tyler Miller

This afternoon at the Playstation Experience, Sony revealed The Last of Us Part II is in fact in production. The game looks to be taking place a few years after the end of the first game, and it’s still following Joel and Ellie. There are a couple big questions though that I have though. How is the relationship between Joel and Ellie after how the last game ended? Just how far into the future does this game take place? And most importantly, what the hell happened that has Ellie on the warpath?

Red Dead Redemption 2 Looks Beautiful

By: Tyler Miller

Rockstar released the very first look at Red Dead Redemption 2 this morning in the form of a short teaser trailer, and while it doesn’t reveal much about the game, it does reveal that this game is going to be massive and positively gorgeous. With Rockstar’s pedigree though, that’s more than enough for me to be on board the hype train.

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out next Fall.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Officially Been Announced!

By: Tyler Miller

After two days of teasing, barely any leaks, and years of anticipation, Rockstar has finally announced that they are indeed working on Red Dead Redemption 2. Even better is that the game is coming out Fall 2017, and we’re getting our first look at the game this Thursday at 11 AM EST. Rockstar left just a bit of information for us to chew on at the game’s official website:

Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Sure sounds like the game is going to be even bigger than its predecessor, giving us even more of the wild west to explore and lose ourselves in. It also sounds like we’ll be getting a Red Dead version of GTA Online, and it only makes sense that we would seeing as how popular the latter is. Although the game is coming to PS4 and Xbox One, there’s no word on a PC release. Hopefully PC players don’t get shafted this time around since a PC version of the first Red Dead Redemption was never made.

Pro Tip: Always Make Sure Your Controller Is Charged When Playing Online

By: Tyler Miller

When your console tells you that your controller needs to be charged, you should probably listen to it. And if you plan to do so after the match you’re in, you should try not to forget, or else you’ll end up in the same situation I did. In the perfect position to make great play, only to have your controller die and miss out on a couple kills that would’ve helped your team. So pro tip: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CONTROLLER CHARGED WHEN PLAYING ONLINE.
